Central Christian Academy Preschool Presents...

"I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to do what is good, who leads you in the way you should go."
Isaiah 4:17

My little guy's first school program.

Here's a close up of Zane in the corner. He was the line leader and proudly led all the kiddos onto the bleachers.

Here are his teachers, Mrs. Winger and Mrs. Tinius.

Here is his music and PE teacher, Mrs. Meyerhoff.

Here we are at the reception following the program for cookies and punch. Yum! G'ma, Uncle Chris, Aunt Erin and Cousin Eden were all able to make it! If you look closely you can see Erin's toes...sorry Erin!

It seems the punch was sour!
Precious songs and lots of fun as we watched around 50 3 & 4 year olds try to stand on bleachers and sing songs for 20 minutes. Zane's favorite song for the night was "Shout to the Lord". He did great! I was so proud! My favorite part was the poem they recited...
On the Cross
On the cross, on the cross
They put Jesus on the cross.
In the tomb, in the tomb
They put Jesus in the tomb.
Up to heaven, up to heaven
Jesus rose and went to heaven!
In my heart, in my heart
Jesus lives in my heart!

The cabinet locks are on and the gate is up

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
Psalms 139:13-14

Amidst all the extra chaos that seems to be happening these days, it's moments like this that I just can't soak up enough. Priceless cuddles. I'll happily chase her around all day, knowing there are some snuggles in store when the sandman comes knocking.

Easter Fun

We all started our Easter celebration by going to The Stations of The Cross that our church so wonderfully put together. We went through the seven stations together as a family and read the coordinating scriptures. It was a privilege to be able to tell the story of salvation to Zane and watch him begin to understand its importance.
Isaiah 53:5 "With his stripes we are healed."

Then Gramps & Mama Frita dropped in with some Easter surprises...

And we had a few surprises for our kiddos as well...
Gemma's basket was a bonnet, which we all decided to try on...

Then we celebrated with G'ma & G'pa. I of course didn't have my camera, so I don't have any pictures, but we had a wonderful time and a delicious meal!
Oh yes, and we colored eggs. This picture is very dark, but here are a few. Zane's favorite is the one on the far right. We accidentally dropped him, so we decided to put a bandage on him and give him a silly face!
