What to do when Mom's sick

Bryce has been such a trooper with my nausea the last couple of months. He is always ready to entertain and take care of EVERYTHING, even after a long day of work. When I started snapping out of it a couple weeks ago and at least got my urge to take pictures again, I was able to document a couple of fun activities with Dad...
Making some delicious oatmeal chocolate chip cookies

Even Gemma gets a turn helping with the ingredients
Go Mixer Go!

Let me preface with the next few pics, that Gemma loves changing shoes and trying on clothes. Bryce had been assisting her in this for a while when Zane decided he wanted to play too. Zane likes to wear my old t-shirts to sleep in and so that led to them trying on my clothes. This all turned into a fashion show of sorts, as Bryce would help them get dressed and then they would come out giggling to show me what they were wearing.
Very nice

Okay, this one I realize, Zane will probably not appreciate when he is older.

So silly!
We're so grateful for such a great Daddy!

The results are in...

I'm reminded of a scene in Beauty and the Beast, where Belle has entered the castle for the first time...
Lumiere (the candlestick) "It's a girl!"
Cogsworth (the clock) "I know it's a girl!"

The boys in our house are about to be out numbered!

Little Zane

I ran across this video while I was reorganizing all the pictures on my computer today. It made me smile and I had to watch it about 100 times. I can't believe he's 5 years old now and so grown up. I'm so thankful for this precious little moment caught on video.

Happy Birthday Dad!

And birthday weekend commences for my Dad.

We have a lot of things in common, one being the need for as much attention as possible, thus the development of birthday weekend. So sad that I can't be there to celebrate with you!

Isn't he handsome?!

Thanks for being such an amazing Dad. For teaching me the importance of working hard, putting family first, and modeling what a great husband is. I knew just what to look for...and am blessed for it. Thank you for your love of games, fun food and quality time.
Happy Birthday Dad & Gramps!
We love you!

Drum roll please...

Okay, sonogram is next week. As long as baby cooperates, we will know the gender of Hutson Baby #3 very soon!

Care to guess?

Your Hands

While in seminary, Bryce and I were in a small group with a couple, Rick & Summer George. They too started their family while in seminary and we got to see their family begin to grow. They recently experienced the loss of a child. Their 4th was born without kidneys. Their story has been an inspiration to many and their faith is an encouragement to me. The song attached plays on their blog http://www.giftfrom316.blogspot.com/. It's message provides great hope.

Please pray for them.

Blogging Hiatus

Wow! It's been a while.
I've been on a little Blogging, or should I say, Life Hiatus for the past two months, due to some savage "morning" sickness. I am pleased to report that things are FINALLY looking up...

I don't want to spend the entire day in bed.
I am showering on my own initiative, without the coercion of other family members.
My knees are no longer sore from bending over the toilet.
I have broadened my food spectrum to more than plain cheese quesadillas, crackers and water.

And these are just to name a few.
Sadly, I did wake up with an unwelcome amount of snot and some kind of respiratory junk. I'm going to do my best to not complain, as any change is welcome at this point.
So, if you're still out there, I'm happy to be back and will be reporting on our household again real soon.
