Memorial Day picture fun with the Inlaws

We weren't quite ready for this one...

Much better...

Starting to get creative...

Family shot...

Now things start getting out of hand...

Have you ever wondered what the people making the kids smile look like?

Wonder if they ever smiled?

Pictures courtesy of our family photographer Aunt Abby. Thanks Abby!

Entrusted with Zane & Gemma

I am grateful to be doing a Parenting/Bible study this summer called "Entrusted With A Child's Heart" by Betsy Corning.

Why does the study hold this name?
Entrusted means "Giving over the trust, care and protection of another." What a perfect title. My children are God's first, His creation, and He has entrusted me with their care. Bryce and I are to train them on "His Behalf".

Psalm 127:1
"Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain."

I encourage you to find this study if you are a parent. I have already been blessed and I've only just begun. If you happen to be in my area, I can hook you up!

1 Year Old

Gemma had her one year appointment today with the Doc. She is doing great! Her weight is 21 lbs 5 oz (55%) and her height is 29 1/2 inches (65%). Average on all accounts.

Side Note: I'm so glad noone updates MY weight stats on a blog.

Aside from her two front teeth that broke through yesterday and the four shots she got at her appointment today, she's doing well! I know she's thankful for Tylenol!

Zane's Art Show

In honor of all of Zane's hard work during his first year of preschool, we celebrated with an art show to display all of his artwork. He sure enjoyed showing the family all that he had done!

Today's Quote

I hear Zane in the other room telling Gemma...

"I'm trying to be nice, but I can't guarantee anything."
