Adventures in raising a 1 year old.

So, I folded clothes today. I placed them neatly back in the laundry basket to be distributed to the appropriate room. Here lies the mistake. I then headed to the kitchen to clean up the bowls from my cabinet that had been dispersed throughout the kitchen floor. This is when I hear crying from the living room. Not serious crying, just frustrated whining type crying. Here is what I find. She has dumped my neatly folded clothes and arranged them ever so nicely. Then placed herself in the laundry basket and got stuck. I considered not helping...but she's pretty cute...so I did.
Then there was this afternoon. Zane and I are coloring together at the table...rather enjoying ourselves. I glance over to check on Gemma who was playing on the floor next to us. She seems to be chewing. Not normally an issue, as she commonly snacks on the debris under the table. Although, this time the chewing is occurring with crayons in hand. With a little concern, I shove my finger in her mouth and this is what I find...

***Warning*** Leave your 1 year old alone at your own risk.

I love that you are ok to admit about debris under the table!! We'd have that too, if it weren't for our dog...she knows exactly where to patrol. :)

So was it fun re-folding the laundry? !!
